If you are a new customer who applies for a card online, please activate the card after completing the "three-person meeting" at any local outlet. If you are a customer applying for a Bank of China card for the first time (regardless of the card application channel), you must complete the personal tax resident status declaration at the counter or WeChat before you can activate the card.
