What is a visa card?
Visa is an international credit card organization that mainly issues credit cards, but it also issues debit cards. Simply put, a visa card may be either a credit card or a debit card. But in China, most visa cards are credit cards, and there are very few debit cards. In foreign countries, there are four major brands of Visa debit cards, namely Visa, VisaElectron, Interlink and PLUS.
What is the difference between visa credit card and debit card?
1The application conditions are different. When users apply for a credit card, they need to be reviewed by the bank. Under normal circumstances, banks will only pass credit card review for users with stable finances, good credit and excellent repayment ability. It is relatively easy to apply for a debit card. After the user reaches adulthood, he or she can apply with a valid ID card.
2 functions are different. Credit cards are mainly used for overdraft consumption in advance or for cash withdrawals. Debit cards have functions such as transfer settlement, cash deposits and withdrawals, and consumption. In addition, depositing money into a debit card will generate a certain amount of interest, but depositing money into a credit card will not generate any interest, and debit cards do not have an overdraft function.
3 Consumption patterns are different. Within a certain credit limit, credit card holders can consume first and repay later. With a debit card, money must be deposited into the card before consumption can be made.
