Mainland entrance examination for undergraduate degree at the University of Hong Kong

The application fee is HK$450, and the application fee for late registration is HK$550.

College entrance examination results (the results will be reported online or notified to the school immediately after the college entrance examination results are released)

Application Method

Applicants can use the online application system or submit the application form in writing. They only need to choose one of the two and do not need to apply again. Successful applicants will receive a confirmation email from HKU.

Complete the form and send it together with proof of payment of the admission application fee (original money order, remittance receipt or direct deposit receipt) to the International Exchange Center (The HKU), Ground Floor, Fong Shu Chuen Civic Center, The University of Hong Kong, Pok Fu Lam Road, Hong Kong Global Lounge, G/F, Fong Shu Chuen Amenities Centre, The University of Hong Kong, Pokfulam Road, Hong Kong). Notes:

i. All fees involved in bank deposits or transfers are paid by the applicant.

ii. When going to the bank to handle relevant procedures, applicants must bring their ID cards and relevant supporting documents.

Deadline for application

The deadline for written application is April 30, 2011.

In order to process students' applications as quickly as possible, it is recommended that applications sent close to the deadline be sent by express mail.

The deadline for online application is June 15, 2011. Applicants must submit the application form and payment online.

Late applicants may be processed on a case-by-case basis and the application fee is HK$550.

Application Results

Applicants who are qualified after the first round of screening will be notified of the interview arrangements through the online system in mid-June 2011, and their application results will be It will be announced on this website and online system in early July 2011. HKU will not make further notification by phone or post, so applicants are advised to pay close attention.

In addition to the application fees specified by HKU, applicants do not need to submit any additional fees to individual staff and units of HKU during the application process. This move may violate Hong Kong's Prevention of Bribery Ordinance.
