The credit information system of China People's Bank includes enterprise credit information basic database and personal credit information basic database. The basic database of enterprise credit information started from 1997, and the nationwide online query was realized in July 2006. By the end of last year, the database included more than 6.5438+million enterprises and other organizations, of which more than 6 million had credit records. The basic database of personal credit information was first built at 1999, and was connected with all commercial banks and some eligible rural credit cooperatives in China at the end of August 2005. In June 2006, the basic database of personal credit information was officially put into operation. By the end of last year, the database had collected more than 600 million natural persons, of whom more than 654.38 billion had credit records.
