How to clear your credit report after paying off your credit card overdue?

Legal analysis:

Overdue credit records are divided into two situations: credit card overdue records and loan bad credit records. The elimination time of overdue records in these two situations is different:

1. Credit card overdue records

Credit card repayment information will be recorded by the central bank’s credit reporting system on a rolling basis for 24 months. If there is no new record after the expiration date, this information will be saved for a long time. Come down. Therefore, when a credit card expires, do not cancel it immediately. You should insist on using it for more than two years and keep good records so that the overdue records can be eliminated.

2. Bad loan credit records

The credit reporting agency’s retention period for personal bad information is 5 years from the date of termination of the bad behavior or event; if it exceeds 5 years, should be deleted. Therefore, if a loan creates a bad credit record, the record will be automatically eliminated as long as it is no longer overdue within 5 years.
