Credit card points are not transferable. Redemption of points is to turn points into physical objects or electronic coupons (give you the password). You can give it away at will, or you can tell others the password of the electronic coupon.

My bank in China has two credit cards, a gold card and an ordinary card. I want to cancel the gold card and transfer its points to the ordinary card, but I can't. What's more, it would be even worse if it were to be transferred to others.

PS, I know that airplane mileage points are transferable.
