Can I borrow a credit card?
According to the regulations of the International Credit Card Organization and the People's Bank of China, credit cards and their accounts are only used by cardholders approved by the issuing bank, and may not be provided, leased or lent to others. Lending your credit card to others needs to bear certain risks, including theft risk, credit risk and default risk. If the cardholder wants to lend his credit card to others, he must consider whether he can bear the following risks before doing so.

1. Credit card risk: Although most banks can provide card loss protection service, it is limited to the case that cardholders lose their cards and are swiped. If the cardholder lends the credit card to others on his own initiative and then steals it, the bank will not be responsible.

2. Credit risk: Cardholders can usually repay on time with their own cards, but after lending their credit cards to others, it is difficult to guarantee whether the other party can repay on time. Once the repayment is not timely or overdue, it will affect the cardholder's credit information, and it will also have a great impact on the future loan to buy a house and a car.

3. Risk of default: If someone else fails to repay the credit card within the specified time after using it, resulting in overdue credit card, the cardholder will bear the risk of default. On the one hand, banks will take various measures to collect fees; On the other hand, banks will pay high overdue fees, including liquidated damages and penalty interest.

4. Criminal risks: Many credit card disputes have risen from civil risks to criminal risks. For example, if the borrower maliciously overdraws the credit card and fails to repay the loan for a long time, and the principal in arrears reaches 50,000, the cardholder can sue the court in the name of credit card fraud, and even if the loan is paid off, he may be sentenced.

5. Freeze the risk: After lending the credit card to others, the cardholder may never use it again. The reason is that banks will monitor the use of credit cards. If the borrower illegally cashes out with a credit card and is monitored by the bank, the credit card with serious circumstances will be frozen.
