What are the rules for changing ICBC credit cards when they expire?
Provisions of China Industrial and Commercial Bank on the Expiration and Replacement of Credit Cards

ICBC's Peony Credit Card is generally valid for no more than 5 years, and the expired card is no longer used, but the contract is still valid. If you still need to use a credit card, please change it through ICBC online banking, ICBC business outlets or ICBC customer service hotline. If you don't want to change your card for the time being, please inform ICBC one month in advance, and ICBC will keep the card number for you for a certain period of time; If you need to continue to use the card in the future, apply to ICBC for card replacement.

For ICBC credit cards that are not activated within the validity period, ICBC will no longer provide card replacement service after the card expires.

The expired China Industrial and Commercial Bank credit card shall not be used by the cardholder (except income) before the relevant formalities are handled by China Industrial and Commercial Bank. If the cardholder fails to go through the formalities of replacing the new card in time, the ICBC credit card will not be used normally, and the losses arising therefrom will be borne by the cardholder himself.

If it cannot be reissued due to the termination of cooperation between ICBC and cooperative units, credit card organizations or companies, ICBC will issue other cards with the same credit. If the cardholder fails to renew the Peony Credit Card or stops using it halfway, he still needs to pay off the card debt.
