Bank of China stops domestic RMB transactions for all-currency (EMV) single-logo credit cards:

According to regulatory requirements, single-logo cards such as VISA, MasterCard, JCB, and American Express issued by domestic Bank of China Foreign currency Bank of China credit cards can only be used outside China and in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Note: First make it clear that the card is an EMV card of VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and JCB card organizations; domestic transactions refer to consumer transactions including online transactions, cardless payments, and physical transactions. Repayments will not be affected (deposits, withdrawals, and transfers will not be affected).
