ICBC cards will not always stop payment.
Normally, the ICBC card payment stop can be automatically lifted within three days. If it has not been canceled after three working days, please contact the bank’s customer service staff in time to cancel. Users can call ICBC's customer service hotline 95588 and be transferred to manual customer service to apply for lifting the payment stop status of their bank cards. You can also go to the counter of an ICBC branch with your valid ID card and bank card, and with the help of the staff, go through the procedures for lifting the payment stop status.
Bank card payment may be stopped because the cardholder has bad behaviors such as overdue payment and cash out. When there is a risk of credit card fraud, the credit card will be stopped, and false card applications will cause the bank card to enter the stop payment state. After the bank card stops payment, the cardholder cannot conduct payment, consumption, transfer, payment and other transaction operations through the bank.
