Can credit card apps scan QR codes to pay?

Credit cards can be scanned to pay. Credit card scanned payments are divided into the following situations:

1. After binding to a third-party payment platform or bank APP, as long as the merchant and the third party Once the platform has signed a credit card payment agreement, you can scan the QR code to pay.

2. After binding the credit card to Alipay, WeChat, UnionPay wallet, etc., scan the merchant's payment QR code, or ask the merchant to scan the payment QR code of your Alipay, WeChat or UnionPay wallet, as long as the merchant Once you have signed the credit card payment agreement, you can complete the credit card scan code payment.

3. Most banks’ own mobile APPs can also be used for scan-code payment, but there are fewer merchants that sign with the bank for scan-code credit card payment than with Alipay, WeChat and UnionPay Wallet.

Scanning the QR code to pay with a credit card is also a credit card consumption. This fee is mainly charged to the merchant and has nothing to do with the consumer. For example, if the merchant's price is 100 yuan, if the user is charged a handling fee for this consumption, the actual payment amount should be greater than 100 yuan. But in fact, users only need to pay the actual consumption amount.

The purpose of merchants opening credit card collection services is mainly to facilitate user payments. After all, credit card payments are very common now. If this service is not enabled, a certain amount of customer traffic may be lost.

There is a limit for merchants to scan QR codes to pay with credit cards, but the limits will vary depending on the level of risk prevention:

1. Static barcode

When we scan the QR code to pay for a credit card through a static barcode, that is, a QR code printed in a store or roadside stall, the daily limit for a single bank account or all payment accounts and quick payment for the same customer is 500 yuan.

2. If the dynamic barcode is displayed by showing the dynamic barcode, that is, when paying for the purchase, the cashier scans his QR code to make the transaction:

If the dynamic barcode is used If two or more valid elements (including digital certificates or electronic signatures) are used for verification, there is no limit for single-day payment, which can be independently agreed upon by the bank or payment institution. And if the dynamic barcode uses two or more valid elements excluding digital certificates and electronic signatures for verification, then the daily limit for all payment accounts and quick payments is 5,000 yuan. If the dynamic barcode uses less than two valid elements for verification, the daily limit for all payment accounts and quick payments will be 1,000 yuan.
