Chip damage will cause data loss, so it cannot be used. It is recommended to try flashing it on the POS machine to see if the data can be read out.
If your card can no longer be used due to damage, breakage, demagnetization of the magnetic strip, or incorrect signature, you can call the CCB credit card service hotline to apply for a new card. Please activate the new card promptly after receiving it and destroy the damaged card to avoid risks.
Extension:
If it expires, CCB will provide you with an automatic card replacement service one month in advance, and a new card will be mailed to you before your card expires. Once you receive the billing address, you can activate the new card and use it, while the old card will become invalid.
