How to report the loss of a credit card:
1. After the credit card is lost, immediately call the 24-hour customer service hotline of the issuing bank and provide basic personal information. Then the staff will report the loss of the credit card and apply for a new card.
2. Bring your ID card and go to the credit card department of the bank to report the loss.
3. You can also choose to apply for the "Lost Card Protection" service. At present, many commercial banks have launched the 48-hour protection function before a credit card is reported as lost. That is, if the credit card is stolen within 48 hours before the loss is reported, all losses will be shared between the bank and the cardholder.
