Some people say that using credit cards will make you lose control of yourself and make money go to waste, but I think it is a good financial management tool.
I have two credit cards, one from Shanghai Pudong Development Bank and one from Bank of China. The total limit is 110,000, which is more than enough for daily consumption. Since I got WeChat, Alipay, and UnionPay QuickPass, I have almost never used these two cards because I have bound them all to these applications, activated quick payment, and scanned the QR code to directly swipe the card.
I was quite worried when I started using Express Payment, mainly because I was afraid of fraudulent transactions. Later, I simply bought a bank security insurance, and then set a maximum limit for each transaction per day on my credit card, so that I could feel more confident when swiping the card. .
There are still benefits to binding credit card consumption. One can enjoy some benefits of the platform. In addition, credit card points are calculated as usual, and sometimes the points will be doubled. For example, Bank of China tied Alipay Quick Payment last year, and the points Settled at 5 times, you can earn up to 50,000 points per month.
Points can be used to exchange for gifts, and the quality of Bank of China’s gifts is quite good. If you don’t want to exchange gifts, you can also exchange them for vouchers, such as phone recharges, Tmall supermarket coupons, etc. The limit given to me by Bank of China was 50,000 at the beginning. I didn’t want that high at that time, so I reduced it to 20,000. But later I wanted to save points and applied for an increase in the limit, but they refused to grant it to me. Big banks are different, they are very noble!
When it comes to point redemption, Bank of China is really much better. Everyone gets one point for every dollar spent. Bank of China has a wide variety of gifts to choose from, while Shanghai Pudong Development Bank has nothing to redeem, and the points it requires are very high. Similarly, when exchanging Tmall supermarket coupons, 50 yuan from Pudong Development Bank costs more than 100,000 points, while Bank of China only costs 30,000 points. For a mobile recharge of 100 yuan, Pudong Development Bank requires 210,000 points, while Bank of China only requires 30,000 points.
However, Pudong Development Credit Card also has the advantage of having a high limit and many card swiping activities, such as red envelope points for consumption and card swiping bonuses for draws. Now we are working on binding the Shanghai Pudong Development Bank debit card for automatic repayment. Once the consumption amount is reached, you can draw a lottery. I drew 4 times and received a card credit of 20 yuan.
Usually pay attention to the activities of your credit card. If you are satisfied, sign up and draw a prize when it expires. There will be little surprises from time to time. I was lucky. Once I used points to draw a lottery and won the four-piece set from Anna Fu. Hahaha, I was so happy.
After using credit cards for so many years, I have summarized the following benefits:
1. Spend first and repay later. Your salary can be used to buy bank cash products first. For example, Pufa Tiantianying can earn a small profit.
2. Monthly consumption has bill details and pie chart analysis, making consumption clear at a glance.
3. You get points for consumption, and the points can be exchanged for gifts or coupons, which indirectly saves a little money.
4. Participate in credit card activities, you can enjoy some discounts or draw card money, and save a little money.
Friends who use credit cards, do you feel the same as me? You can come and share your experience.
