In other words, no matter how high the amount of your two cards is, the total amount is the amount of the highest card. If you have a credit card of China Everbright Bank with a limit of 20,000 and apply for a new card with a limit of 35,000, then your total amount is 35,000. When the old card with a credit limit of 20000 is full, the new card can only be swiped with 15000.
