The handling fee of futures can be adjusted. If futures are compared to doing business, the handling fee is the cost of doing business. Only the lower the cost, the greater the profit. Then our business entities are divided into exchanges, futures companies and ourselves, and the cost is also composed of exchange fees+futures company fees = our actual fees.
Exchange fees are the same for all futures companies, and this part is collected by the state. It is impossible to charge a penny less. The exchange says it can charge as much as it wants. Futures companies charge different customers, even the same futures company charges different customers.
There are generally two ways for an exchange to collect fees:
1. Some varieties are charged according to a certain proportion of the turnover. For example, silver is charged at 0.5% of the turnover, and the price is 5500,5500 *15 * 0.5% = 4.1yuan.
2. Some varieties are charged at a fixed amount, such as gold 10 yuan, soybean 2 yuan and urea 5 yuan.
There are also opening and closing fees, as well as today's closing fee. There are different varieties, some of which do not need bilateral procedures.
Futures companies will collect part of their income on the basis of the exchange. Sometimes, we will see that the fees charged by futures companies to customers are different. This is because there is only a minimum futures fee, but if the fee is too high, the customer needs to confirm it.
Under normal circumstances, traders who open accounts in futures companies will generally add 2 times or 3 times the exchange fee on the basis of the default exchange without consulting the handling fee in advance. Some futures companies may default more, but generally it will not exceed 10 times.
If we say that the lowest handling fee in the industry is naturally +0, it is equivalent to futures companies not charging handling fees. Due to industry competition, some futures companies did this, but they were stopped by the CSRC for punishment.
At present, all futures companies have adopted the strategy of+1 point in the exchange to avoid the policy, which is equivalent to no handling fee, so+1 point has become the lowest handling fee standard in the industry.
