Jilin University Business School was established in 1993. After 10 years of development, there are now eight departments (accounting department, enterprise management department, finance department, human resources management department, e-commerce department, marketing department, tourism management department and credit management department) and three research institutes (applied economy research institute, business administration research institute and game theory and competition cooperation research institute).

At present, the business school has three doctoral degree-granting majors (jointly organized with the School of Economics) and 1 postdoctoral mobile station of applied economics, six master degree-granting majors (quantitative economics, business management, accounting, management science and engineering, industrial economics and finance) and two master degree-granting points (MBA and master of engineering (project management). Among them, the major of quantitative economics was rated as the national key discipline and the only key research base of quantitative economics of the Ministry of Education.

Business school has a team of interdisciplinary teachers who combine arts and sciences.
