1. As early as 1980s, underground futures trading in Taiwan Province Province was rampant, with as many as 400 futures companies. In order to improve the market system and provide a legal safe haven, relevant parties in Taiwan Province Province began to rectify underground futures trading.

2.1At the end of 1993, the competent department of securities and futures of Taiwan Province Province approved the application for the establishment of 14 domestic and 9 overseas commission agents, and the first commission agent was established in April 1994. Since then, Taiwan Province residents can formally participate in overseas futures trading.
