There are differences in production technology, application field and composition index.
Pitch coke is a kind of coke with low sulfur and ash content. It is a product obtained by direct coking of coal tar pitch (soft pitch or hard pitch) in a coking furnace, or delayed coking production, and the final coking temperature is above 1 100℃. Pitch coke is also used to produce high-grade cast iron, such as ductile iron.
The delayed coking process for producing pitch coke is basically the same as that for production equipment and residual oil. Because the coking temperature is only about 500℃, the product in the coke tower is semi-coke. Calcination is essential before asphalt delayed coke is used in carbon production. The practice at home and abroad is to combine the calcination system with delayed coking to supply calcined coke to the market.
Composition index of Tan Jia asphalt coke carburetor: low sulfur and low nitrogen.
