What stainless steel is used for fluorine-containing wastewater?
2304(UNS S32304) stainless steel is a duplex stainless steel, containing 23% chromium, 4% nickel and no molybdenum. The corrosion resistance of 2304 duplex stainless steel is similar to that of 3 16L, and the yield strength is twice that of 304L/3 16L austenitic stainless steel. This feature enables designers to reduce the weight of products, especially pressure vessels. Compared with 304 and 3 16 austenitic stainless steel, 2304 duplex stainless steel has stronger stress corrosion resistance.
