DaCom Information Trading System in Dalian Futures Building

The Dalian Futures Building, currently the world's largest building with the most modern facilities, was officially opened in Dalian this week and used for futures trading, demonstrating the quiet prosperity of China's futures industry.

On October 27, 2010, the information trading system of Dalian Commodity Exchange was successfully switched to this new futures building, thus ending the more than ten years of trading in Dalian Convention and Exhibition Center. The modern architectural design of German engineers and an investment of nearly 2 billion yuan have made this "architectural beauty" with a height of 242.05 meters and a construction area of ??nearly 200,000 square meters become the "soul" of Xinghai Square.

Relevant people from the Dalian Commodity Exchange said that since the Futures Building Information Trading System was launched three days ago, various futures businesses such as trading, delivery, and settlement have been operating normally. The new system has been fully upgraded in terms of power, communications, computer rooms and other infrastructure. Telecom operators have dual access from different pipe wells, making the system more secure and reliable. The peak basic order processing capacity of the trading system reaches 16,000 orders per second, and the continuous order processing capacity reaches 2,000 orders per second. The system's transaction processing capacity is four times the historical peak, and the technical risks of futures trading are greatly reduced.

Dalian Commodity Exchange is the second largest agricultural product futures market in the world. Among them, soybean oil and plastic futures trading volume ranks first in the world, and their futures price influence is growing globally. After the Chinese government formulated a strategy to revitalize the old industrial base in Northeast China, last year it proposed the goal of supporting the Dalian Commodity Exchange in building an important futures trading center in Asia. As the financial center in Northeast China, Dalian Commodity Exchange and its Dalian Futures Building have "leading" and symbolic significance.
