How to calculate foreign exchange earnings?
In the process of investment, we should not only know how to make money, but also know how much money we have earned. The profit point is an important option for calculating foreign exchange gains and losses. According to market practice, the price of foreign exchange rate usually consists of five significant figures. Counting from right to left, the first one is called point X, which is the smallest unit of exchange rate change. The second name is X ten, and so on.

We can look at practical examples,

1 euro = 1. 1259 USD; 1 USD = 1 1 1.93 yen;

If the euro changes from 1. 1259 to 1. 1264, then we say that the euro has risen by 5 points against the US dollar;

If USD/JPY changes from11.93 to 1 1 1.43, then we can say that USD/JPY has fallen by 50 points.

After understanding this, we can try to apply some. For example, I have 10000 dollars and earned 100 points, which is equivalent to how many dollars I have earned.

We can first divide 100 by the value of this currency, that is, the value obtained by ignoring the decimal point in the price to be traded, and then multiply it by the invested dollars, and we can estimate our profit. Of course, with the change of exchange rate, the final calculation result is slightly different, but the principle is the same.
