What are the items of feed additive testing?
Quality standards, inspection methods and quality inspection reports of feed and feed additives;

Quality standard: the standard implemented by the production enterprise, generally the national standard, industry standard or enterprise standard of the production country.

Quality standards should include appearance and sense, physical and chemical indicators, hygiene indicators, etc.

Appearance and sense of products: regulations on the color, smell and appearance of products.

Physical and chemical indicators: the upper and lower limits should be set for the main nutritional indicators of the quality of reaction products and the processing quality indicators of reaction products.

Hygienic standard: safety limit provisions for natural, secondary and exogenous pollutants, toxic and harmful substances and pathogenic microorganisms in products. Hygienic standards of products include control indicators of heavy metals and harmful bacteria. The indicators of heavy metals include lead, arsenic, mercury, cadmium, fluorine and sulfite (only fish meal in terms of NaNo2); Harmful bacteria include salmonella, total bacteria, mold, B 1, etc.

Testing methods: The testing methods of main nutritional indicators and hygiene indicators are required. When the inspection method is a general standard, the applicant can provide the standard code. If the nutritional indexes of products are crude protein, crude fat, moisture, crude fiber and crude ash, the existing inspection methods of national standards or AOAC and ISO standards can only provide standard codes for implementing standards. Otherwise, provide the specific operation steps, solution concentration, instruments used and calculation methods in the inspection process.

Product quality inspection report:

For animal protein feed (such as fish meal, meat and bone meal, whey powder, etc. ), the inspection report is required to be issued by the inspection agency of the producing country, and the inspection results are true and have legal effect.

Other feeds and feed additives can be provided with inspection reports by production enterprises. The samples tested in the report are the same batch as the samples provided at the time of application, and the inspection items in the inspection report are required to be consistent with the quality indicators of the products.

Health certificate:

For fish meal, it is necessary to prove that the product does not contain other animal proteins and fats except fish meal.

Meat and bone meal requires to prove what kind of animal meat and bone meal the product is (such as cow bone meal, pig bone meal and chicken bone meal), and the raw materials are from healthy animals in non-epidemic areas.

For whey powder, it is required to prove that the fresh milk comes from healthy animals, and the product does not contain other animal fats and animal proteins other than dairy products.

Petroleum products must be certified as dioxin-free.

Products suspected to contain animal ingredients from epidemic areas need health certificates.
