According to national regulations, ordinary investors can buy government bonds and only need to provide their own ID cards to open accounts. There are two kinds of national debt, one is voucher national debt, which cannot be traded. Investors must hold the coupon rate until it expires after purchase. Otherwise, if the interest on early redemption is very low, they will have to pay a handling fee of 0. 1% of the bank principal. The second is book-entry treasury bonds, which can be traded. Like stocks, prices fluctuate up and down. Two kinds of government bonds can be bought or traded in banks or securities companies. Certificate-based government bonds can only be bought in banks, and they are rarely available when issued. So it's not that we can't buy government bonds, but that the number of issues is relatively small, so some people think that this is the reason why we can't buy them, but they don't know that this is the reason why we can't issue them.
So is it cost-effective to buy government bonds? The advantage of buying government bonds is that the income is stable and predictable, but there are also disadvantages. It is only harmful to buy them properly, rather than storing them in large quantities because of the stable income. Disadvantages of national debt:
1. Low yield. At present, the yield of three-year government bonds is around 4%;
2. Low flexibility. Generally speaking, individual investors must hold the maturity, and it is more difficult to cash in if they need temporary capital turnover.
Then buyers should also consider whether to buy, which has certain preventive significance for ordinary investors, but which new investors should be prevented from into the pit. At the beginning, I will often follow the trend, which is the most terrible. This will only bring losses and increase my troubles. National debt is only suitable for appropriate purchase and should be held for a long time.
