Since the first PSP was officially released on December 12, 2004, there have been three models of PSP: PSP1000, PSP2000, and PSP3000. Of course, there are also PSgo and the PSPhone that is currently being rumored.
I am a keen PSP fan. I bought a PSP1000 on New Year's Day in 2006, a PSP2000 at the end of 2007, and a PSP3000 on New Year's Day in 2009. Now all three machines are still there, and everything can play games normally, but the appearance of the 1000 is not as dazzling as it was before.
Now 1000 has been discontinued. This old antique is only available as parallel imports or second-hand. It is not recommended to buy it.
PSP2000 has two versions - V2 version and V3 version. The V2 version has been completely cracked. The V3 version has not been completely cracked, but you can still play the game by flashing it. It just cannot be shut down completely, the machine can only be in standby and hibernation mode.
The PSP3000 machine is lighter and has a better operating feel. The screen display effect is extraordinary. It is strongly recommended to buy PSP3000.
Also, I haven’t purchased PSgo yet, so I can’t say more here to avoid missing the poster’s attention.
That’s it for model selection. I personally recommend buying PSP3000. The main thing is to choose the machine to avoid being deceived by profiteers. Let me share with you in detail the things you should pay attention to when purchasing a machine:
Generally speaking, you should pay attention to the following points when choosing a machine: UMD compartment sealing; whether the system is 1.50 or 2.0; check the screen for dead pixels and dust; Whether the accessories are packaged for assembly; the key issue (this is a problem with early shipments, and the current PSP has almost no key problem)
●The sealing of the UMD compartment cover is only an aesthetic issue, because the switch card The mouth is on the right side, so the left side is more or less loose. Don't be too harsh on this point.
●Check the system firmware version of the PSP. Because PSP with system version 2.0 or above cannot run any cracking program. It is estimated that 2.01 and 2.50 will not be cracked for a long time, so ask about the system version of the machine before purchasing. The place to check the system version is: the second to last item in the main body settings, the information for this question, the English system is System Setting-->System Information.
● Next, check the dead pixels of the PSP LCD screen. The PSP uses a SHARP high-quality 16 million color AVS LCD screen. There has been rumors on the Internet for a while that PSP will enable SAMSUNG screen. But I can tell you responsibly: So far, PSP still uses SHARP screen.
Speaking of dead pixels, let’s first understand the definition of dead pixels: pure black dots under a white screen or pure white dots under a black screen. When switching to red, green, and blue display mode, this point is always at the same position and is always a pure black or pure white point. This situation indicates that the three sub-pixels of R, G, and B of the pixel have been damaged. Such points are called dead pixels. Generally, what appears on the PSP are small bright spots of pure white under a black screen. This kind of point is difficult to find, but it does not affect normal use. If there are only about 3 small highlights like this on the PSP, it would be acceptable. Of course, we have the right to pursue perfection.
I will only talk about my method of checking this kind of bright spots: prepare PSP-specific dead pixel detection pictures in advance (one each in black, white, red, green, and blue). If the store does not install it for you, You have to bring a memory stick, turn the screen brightness to the maximum, and use the PSP to see black pictures in a darker environment. The highlights of the PSP will be clear at a glance. Then take a closer look at other full-color images to check for other kinds of dead pixels.
●It should be very rare for original parts to be subcontracted. This can only be done by unscrupulous profiteers, but it’s better for everyone to pay attention. In-line controls, headphones, and soft bags are now sold assembled, and the quality is naturally much worse than the original ones.
●Memory stick purchasing experience. The deluxe version of PSP comes with a 32MB memory stick. This capacity can barely hold one or two MTV songs or five or six MP3 songs, which is basically useless. When everyone buys a machine, they buy a memory stick according to their own needs. It is recommended that everyone buy a memory stick as it is more cost-effective.
●Experience in purchasing film. The PSP sticker is a must, as everyone doesn’t want their phone to become a mess. Currently, there are many kinds of films on the market, some imported and original, and some domestically produced. Just about the same.
●Data cable purchasing experience. There’s not much to say about this. They are sold in every computer store, ranging from a few yuan to dozens. It's the kind of MINI-USB port common to digital cameras. SONY's original data cable comes with two anti-interference rings. The quality is good and the price is about 20.
