In The Great Times, Ding Xie is a fictional character, impulsive, savage and self-righteous. Fang robbed Luo because of misunderstanding, beat her into an idiot, and then fled to Taiwan Province Province and killed another person.

Later, he was arrested in Hong Kong and sentenced to life imprisonment because of Fang's accusation. Later, his son used legal loopholes to help him get out of prison, but because of his outstanding luck, he became rich in the stock market. After that, he was defeated by Fang Zhanbo in the stock market. Finally, he committed suicide by jumping off a building with his four sons, but he survived and ended up in prison.

The role image of Ding Xie in The Great Times;

Ding Xie in "Big Times" is simple-minded and doesn't understand technical analysis at all, but he can become a big winner in the stock and futures markets with the simple idea that "everyone is dead, but I am not dead".

The screenwriter consciously added a lot of "good luck" to him, which was quite Zen besides being funny. I think of a book I read at the beginning of the year, "Butterfly Effect Economics", which satirizes the unreliability of traditional economic and technical analysis.
