It is shown that in 2004, China consumed 1 1 100 million pieces of Tetra Pak packaging, accounting for about 10% of the global total. According to each package material10g, these tetra pak are 1 10000 tons. The pollution of Tetra Pak packaging has two problems. Judging from ordinary garbage, 1, 654,38+0,000 tons of garbage needs a lot of manpower and material resources to deal with. The more serious problem of Tetra Pak packaging is that the inner layer of this packaging material is aluminum, which is not easy to degrade, and there is no better destruction method at present, resulting in a mountain of discarded Tetra Pak packaging in some areas. In the long run, once the metal substance penetrates into the ground, it will affect the quality of groundwater, and the soil will also affect the soil quality. Because this kind of garbage often accumulates in rural areas or urban-rural fringe, polluted water and soil will pollute crops and livestock, and ultimately endanger human health.
In fact, there is another disadvantage of using aluminum-paper composite packaging, that is, the cost is high. Generally speaking, the cost of a 250ml tetra pak is around 0.3 yuan. If this part of the cost is reduced, it will be good for both dairy farmers and consumers.
Therefore, many dairy experts believe that consumers should be informed of the dangers of aluminum-paper composite packaging through various channels and advised to drink less tetra pak dairy products. Secondly, various measures should be taken to reduce the production of Tetra Pak packaging products. It is reported that German, Brazil and other countries have established Tetra Pak packaging recycling network, so it is imperative to establish a recycling network in China as soon as possible.
