Indica rice is rice made from non-waxy rice.

Indica rice is a special kind of rice, which is slender, beige and white, and its transparency is worse than other kinds. Indica rice is more than 7 mm long, not too sticky, fragile and easy to break during processing.

Characteristics of indica rice

The cross section is oblate, and the colors are white and transparent, as well as translucent and opaque. According to the harvest season of rice, it is divided into early indica rice and late indica rice.

Late indica rice grains are slender and slightly flat, with fine texture, generally transparent or translucent, smaller belly white, more hard grains, greater oiliness and better quality.
