The role of data in foundations and foundation industries is just beginning, and it is in the initial stage. Under the suggestion that the Foundation join the "Big Data" initiative, there is a theory of change. Like all other reform theories about charity, its goal is to maximize the impact of charity work. We do not encourage the collection and use of data in the name of data, even in the name of improving the efficiency of the foundation, although these goals are excellent. In essence, the ultimate beneficiaries of improving charity data are those people that the foundation tries to help through their charitable acts.
