In 2022, according to the requirements of the relevant departments of the central government on the overall connection of national science and technology talent plans, only one national science and technology talent plan at the same level can be undertaken during the support period, and the application cannot be reversed. Those who have obtained any kind of national science and technology talent plan at the same level and are in the funding period, and those who have obtained any kind of funding from the national science and technology talent plan at the next higher level, may not apply for the Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars.

In 2022, we will continue to implement the policy of coordinating and connecting the outstanding youth science fund project with other national scientific and technological talent plans, requiring that only one national scientific and technological talent plan can be applied for or undertaken at the same level, but not the other way around.
