If it is transferred across provinces, it usually transfers the part paid by the company, that is, the funds in the overall account. It just won't be completely transferred like an individual account. Generally, it will only transfer 12% of the payment base, that is, 60% of the funds in the overall account. As for the remaining 40% of the funds, it will go to the local co-ordination fund. If it is a transfer within the province, it will generally not involve the part paid by the unit.
However, no matter whether the part paid by the unit is transferred or not, it has no effect on the insured. Because this is a transfer between co-ordinated funds, this part of the money will not be included in the personal account, just to ensure the fund balance between the social security institutions of both parties, and it has no impact on the social security benefits of the insured. There is no such situation that the pension will be less after the social security transfer because the part paid by the unit has not been transferred.

Article 58 stipulates that the employer shall apply to the social insurance agency for social insurance registration for employees within 30 days from the date of employment. If the social insurance has not been registered, the social insurance agency shall verify the social insurance premium it should pay.
Article 63 If an employer fails to pay social insurance premiums in full and on time, the social insurance premium collection agency shall order it to pay or make up within a time limit. Under normal circumstances, the time limit for paying back insurance depends on the social insurance premium collection agencies and enterprises.
