China STD/AIDS Prevention Foundation is a non-profit non-governmental organization composed of experts, social activists and entrepreneurs who study STD/AIDS in the medical field in China. It collects and accepts funds, materials and equipment donated at home and abroad to support scientific research, education and care for patients in China.

Legal basis: Article 7 of the Regulations on AIDS Prevention and Control in People's Republic of China (PRC).

People's governments at all levels and relevant government departments shall take measures to encourage and support relevant organizations and individuals to participate in AIDS prevention and control work in accordance with the provisions of these Regulations and the requirements of the national AIDS prevention and control plan and the AIDS prevention and control action plan, provide donations for AIDS prevention and control work, conduct behavioral intervention on people who are susceptible to HIV-related risky behaviors, and provide care and help to HIV-infected people, AIDS patients and their families.

Article 8

The state encourages and supports scientific research related to AIDS prevention, diagnosis and treatment, and improves the scientific and technological level of AIDS prevention and treatment; Encourage and support the development of traditional medicine and the combination of traditional medicine and modern medicine to prevent and treat AIDS.

The state encourages and supports international cooperation and exchanges in the prevention and treatment of AIDS.
