Supply side: The output of commonly used nonferrous metals is rising steadily
According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, my country's output of ten nonferrous metals exceeded the 60 million mark for the first time in 2020, reaching 61.884 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 5.5%. Among them, the growth rate was 2.1% in the first quarter, 2.9% in the first half of the year, and 3.5% in the first three quarters. In December 2020, the average daily output of ten nonferrous metals reached 185,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 8.6%. Among them, the average daily output of primary aluminum was 105,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 7.6%.
During the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" period, my country's output of ten nonferrous metals has generally maintained a steady growth trend, with an average annual growth rate of 3.6%. In 2020, my country's output of ten nonferrous metals reached 61.884 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 5.5%. In the first half of 2021, the output of ten nonferrous metals was 32.549 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 11%.
At present, the output of ten kinds of nonferrous metals in my country is unevenly distributed, and the production areas are mainly concentrated in northwest, east China, and southwest regions. Among them, the northwest region has the highest yield, especially Xinjiang Province. Demand side: Copper and aluminum consumption increased significantly
