4. December 29th Movement in 1935

Students in Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Wuhan, Changsha and other places held demonstrations one after another, and patriots from all walks of life set up national salvation associations one after another, demanding that the Kuomintang government stop the civil war and realize the anti-Japanese war, which formed a new climax of the patriotic and democratic movement of the whole country and promoted the establishment of the anti-Japanese national United front. The December 29th Movement became the starting point to promote the China people's anti-Japanese and national salvation movement.

Students from all over the country held rallies and demonstrations in support of the just struggle of Kunming students.
