Money funds and bond funds have gains on weekends, while stock funds, hybrid funds, index funds and ETF funds have no gains on weekends. Because of investing in a basket of stocks, stocks are not traded on weekends, so there is no gain on weekends.

The trading hours of funds are the same as those of stocks: 9: 30am-1:30am from Monday to Friday, and1:30pm-3: 00pm-15: 00pm. Trading is not allowed on legal holidays.
