The "Pearl Recovery Plan" carried out by Zhejiang Xinhua Love Education Foundation is to cooperate with local key high schools to set up pearl classes. According to the requirements of family poverty and excellent academic performance, each class enrolls 50 Pearl students and subsidizes high school students who are facing dropping out of school due to family poverty to continue their studies. The school exempts Mingzhu students from tuition and accommodation fees, while the Foundation gives them a monthly living allowance in 250 yuan for each academic year 10 month (no subsidy in February and August) for three years * * * 7,500 yuan, so that Mingzhu students can go back to school with peace of mind. Just like picking up pearls thrown into the trash can and polishing them again, from 2004 to 20 10, more than 230 pearl classes were opened in 76 cooperative schools in 23 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, benefiting more than 12000 students.
