Peking Union Medical College (formerly China Union Medical College) is a key medical university founded by Rockefeller Foundation in 19 14, with eight-year medical education and higher nursing education.

In 2006, with the consent of the Ministry of Education and the former Ministry of Health, Peking Union Medical College was renamed Peking Union Medical College, and the name of Peking Union Medical College (Tsinghua University Medical Department) was followed.
