Shanghai Electronic Industry School was founded by the Ministry of Education, 1985. It is the only full-time secondary specialized school in Shanghai that organizes teaching activities according to the German "dual system" vocational education model, and it is also a Sino-German vocational training center. Since 1997, we have been consulting and radiating the education and training systems in Yunnan, Gansu and Shandong provinces, and helping relevant local vocational schools to train professional teachers. Since 1999, the school has become a training base for vocational teachers in Shanghai. Germany not only undertakes the task of training professional teachers for our school, but also provides major teaching instruments and equipment, and sends experienced long-term and short-term cultural, educational and vocational education experts to work in our school. The characteristics of "dual system" teaching mode are: the combination of school training and enterprise training, the combination of theoretical teaching and practical teaching, and the use of small class teaching. Students have strong practical ability and wide occupational adaptability. In order to adapt to the "dual system" teaching mode, the school has established several practice bases in cooperation with more than 100 enterprises. The school has well-equipped teaching workshops such as metalworking, machining, electrician and electronic training (each student is guaranteed to have a training station), language lab, computer room, multimedia modern classroom, all kinds of advanced instruments and equipment general electronic laboratory (imported from Germany), radio communication laboratory, energy and electrical equipment technology laboratory, programmable control laboratory, electro-pneumatic laboratory, CNC machine tool processing laboratory, gymnastics room, library and so on. The school now has five majors in two categories: one is the application of electronic technology (electronic information, radio technology, modern enterprise electrical equipment technology) and mechatronics, which recruits junior high school graduates for three years. 2. Mechatronics (3+3 higher vocational colleges), asset operation management (insurance major), enrolling high school graduates, with a schooling of two years (entrusting Allianz Volkswagen Insurance Company to sign a training contract with students). Since its establishment, there have been 13 graduates. In recent years, graduates have been employed by companies and research institutes such as Shanghai Bell, Shanghai Guomai, Shanghai Aerospace, Shanghai Belling, Shanghai Automotive Electronics, Shanghai Lucent, Shanghai Hua Hong, Shanghai NEC, Shanghai Braun, Shanghai Standard Parts and Shanghai Aloka. Since1June 1996, more than 10 Sino-German joint ventures have signed cooperation agreements with our school, and selected students from each freshman to sign vocational training contracts. Such as Siemens Switch Co., Ltd., Siemens (China) Co., Ltd., Siemens Communication Power Supply Co., Ltd., Siemens Manufacturing Engineering Co., Ltd., Siemens Line Protection System Co., Ltd., Jasmine Shanghai Nonwoven Fabric Co., Ltd., Allianz Volkswagen Life Insurance Co., Ltd., Admiralty Moeller Electric Appliances (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., Shanghai Shule Publishing Co., Ltd., etc. Contract students enjoy a certain training allowance from the enterprise during the training period and become formal employees of the enterprise after graduation. The school implements the German "dual system" model syllabus. Upon graduation, in addition to the diploma of secondary specialized schools issued by Shanghai Education Commission and the certificate of intermediate workers issued by the Labor and Social Security Bureau, the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) and the Hans Saidel Foundation also issued certificates of conformity. Those with good grades can go directly to Shanghai Institute of Instrument and Electricity for further study.
