Guided and supported by the National Information Center China Smart City Development Research Center and many scientific research institutions, the 20 19 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area New Smart City Macau Forum hosted by the Future Smart City (Macau) Research Association was held in Macau.

This forum is an internal exchange meeting held by the Future Smart City (Macau) Research Association in the form of a forum. Leading guests and well-known scholars from government departments, scientific research institutions and business circles have interpreted and shared the current situation of smart city construction and development at home and abroad. * * * We have jointly explored the characteristic development path of smart cities in Macau and the leading and exemplary significance of building new smart cities in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and achieved fruitful research results and fruitful deepening cooperation.

The forum brought together experts and scholars from relevant government departments, social organizations, industrial chain representative enterprises, financial institutions, scientific research institutions and other institutions in Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Hong Kong and Macao, and built an exchange platform of "resource integration, integrity alliance, mutual benefit and innovation and creation" for Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and domestic enterprises, which promoted exchanges and cooperation in regional smart industries and realized the docking of high-quality resources and complementary advantages. It has formed extensive knowledge and important achievements in promoting the benchmark, demonstration, healthy and sustainable development of smart city construction in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

The Future Smart City (Macau) Research Association will, under the guidance of the China Smart City Development Research Center of the National Information Center, the Liaison Office of Macau, the Macao Science and Technology Commission, and the Macao Science and Technology Development Fund, deeply integrate Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area's "Political Industry-University-Research Fund" and other resources to build an exchange, service and demonstration system. We will promote benchmarking projects such as preparation for the International Smart City (Macau) Expo, Smart City Experience Hall, joint laboratory, application of major technical topics, financial support from the state and Macao, joint training of professional talents, and industrial finance, provide think tank research, top-level planning, design and evaluation standard system for the Macao SAR government and all sectors of society, participate in smart transportation, smart tourism, smart pension, smart education and smart parks in Macao, and strengthen the wisdom of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao to promote the pilot demonstration of new smart cities in Macao.

During the forum, Director of Information and Industry Development Department of National Information Center, Researcher Dan, Director of China Smart City Development Research Center, President of Future Smart City (Macau) Research Association, and Chairman Wu Dongseconds respectively visited Vice Minister, Director of Economic Department of Liaison Office Liu Hui, Member of Macao Science and Technology Development Fund Management Committee, and Professor Li Jianqing, Assistant Dean of Information Technology College of Macau University of Science and Technology. On behalf of the Liaison Office, Zhang Jianhua congratulated the forum on its success, thanked the China Smart City Development Research Center of the National Information Center for its strong support for the construction of smart cities in Macau, and expressed support for the Future Smart City (Macau) Research Association and the industrial resources it represented to make suggestions, actively participate in and make more contributions to the construction of smart cities in Macau. Chen Yunxi introduced the development strategy and key areas of smart cities in Macau. There is still a big gap between Macao and the mainland in the construction of smart cities, especially in the experience of people's livelihood. Macao, on the other hand, has the advantage of being a latecomer because of its unique resources and perspective, combined with domestic advanced experience. By innovating the Guangdong-Macao cooperation model, Macao capital will be fully combined with the rapid development of Guangdong to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results and share the dividend of reform and development. Li Jianqing introduced the practice of Macau University of Science and Technology in smart city and smart campus. The two sides exchanged basic views on the development status, development orientation and development path of smart city construction in Macau and Greater Bay Area, and reached a cooperative understanding.

During his visit to Australia, the China Smart City Development Research Center of the National Information Center and the Future Smart City (Macau) Research Association signed the Framework Agreement on Strategic Cooperation in the Field of Smart Cities. National Information Center China Smart City Development Research Center: It is an inter-departmental, open and professional research platform at the level of National Information Center, and a first-class smart city research institution in China. It mainly provides policy research and decision-making consultation for the relevant national authorities to guide the development of smart cities, and provides strategic planning, top-level design and implementation strategies for local governments and relevant units to carry out smart city construction. It is an information source, think tank and think tank in the fields of national new smart city construction, big data strategy and digital economy development strategy. Future Smart City (Macau) Research Association: It is a professional think tank organization registered in Macau, sponsored by industry elites, investment institutions and more than a dozen famous universities at home and abroad in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao under the guidance of authoritative institutions such as the National Information Center.
