For a long time, Hongxiang Pharmaceutical, led by Ruan Hongxian, has been adhering to the corporate spirit of "doing things with one heart and exchanging hearts with heart" and actively committed to social welfare undertakings. Hongxiang Pharmaceutical spends 1 million yuan every year to carry out voluntary health knowledge popularization in remote mountainous areas of Yunnan Province.

Donated 1 million yuan in scholarships and bursaries; donated 300,000 yuan of youth entrepreneurship funds to the Kunming Youth Entrepreneurship Promotion Association in August 2007 to help aspiring young people start their own businesses; donated 1 million yuan worth of medicines to the disaster-stricken areas during the 2008 "Wenchuan Earthquake".

In January 2011, 1 million yuan was donated to Mile County and Huaning County to build a Lianxin Bridge on the Nanpan River connecting the two counties.

In March 2011, medicines and food worth 100,000 yuan were donated to the Yingjiang earthquake.

In May 2011, donated 500,000 yuan to the Yunnan Provincial Guangcai Cause Promotion Association.

In August 2011, donated 80,000 yuan to the Honghe Prefecture Hope Project.
