Molecular markers, fingerprints and transgenes of peach, apricot, cherry, grape, strawberry, walnut, chestnut, apple and pear were studied. The research on molecular markers of peach was first carried out in China, and molecular markers of hairy/hairless, white/yellow, detached/sticky, round/flat, sweet/acidic peach fruits were obtained, which were actually applied to the pre-selection of peach breeding and played a positive role in promoting peach breeding. In order to further strengthen the research on molecular mapping of fruit tree genetic markers, especially quantitative trait loci, a new genetic research population of peach and cherry was established. It is planned to use this population to study the molecular linkage map of peach and cherry and locate the major genes of fruit quantitative traits such as fruit size, sugar and acid content, pulp hardness and fruit maturity.
