Shanghai Yan Baohang Foundation, referred to as Shanghai Yan Baohang Social Welfare Foundation, was jointly sponsored and donated by Mr. Yan Baohang's old friends, General Zhang Xueliang, Mr. Ning Encheng and Yan Baohang's children. This is a non-public offering foundation. The Foundation was established in April of 199 1 with a history of 17 years. In the past 17 years, the foundation has made important contributions in assisting disaster relief, education and medical care in poor areas. The higher authorities of the Foundation are: Shanghai Foreign Economic Relations and Trade Commission. The funds donated by the Foundation have reached more than 30 million yuan, all of which come from the selfless donations of Mr. Yan Baohang's relatives and friends. All the funds raised by the foundation are used for social welfare undertakings.
