Fund Hanbo is formed by reorganization, standardization and merger of Zibo Fund, Tongfa Fund and Three Gorges Fund. The full names of the three funds are Zibo Township Enterprise Investment Fund Company, Tongfa Securities Investment Fund and Three Gorges Investment Fund. Its historical evolution is as follows:

"Zibo Fund" is a corporate and closed-end trust and investment fund approved by the People's Bank of China [1992] No.424. It is established by China Rural Development Trust and Investment Company (now entrusted by China Yin Jian Investment Co., Ltd.), Zibo Trust and Investment Company, Bank of Communications Zibo Branch (later transferred to Haitong Securities Co., Ltd.), Shandong Securities Co., Ltd. and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Shandong Trust and Investment Co., Ltd. through the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE (999).
