In one day, the teacher gave us an analysis of what educational drama is, and also showed us how to design teaching activities with picture books through activity experience, which gave me a new understanding of educational drama.

1. Let every life shine with drama

1. Drama and education

The teacher's lecture in the morning is "Let every life shine with drama". In this part, Mr. Yu first shared a part of his growing experience from childhood. When it comes to self-confidence gained by performing drama in primary school and changing our interpersonal relationship and personality by attending a drama club in college, we have a new thinking about drama and realized the significance of drama to children's growth. Then Mr. Yu shared his drama study in college and graduate school, so that we could see the drama from different perspectives.

Then, Teacher Yu throws out two questions, which makes everyone think: What do you think of when you mention drama? What do you think is the relationship between drama and education? In the teachers' answers, I heard that "drama is like life, and life is like drama". Drama has a lot to do with music, fine arts, performing arts and so on. Drama is actually around us, not far away from these answers. On the second question, everyone talked about that drama is a form of education. Drama gives children the feelings and experiences of life and helps them learn the truth of being a man and doing things. Drama has the functions of education, warning and cultural transmission. Through these two questions, we see that drama is actually around us, with many forms of presentation, and drama can bring us a lot of things.

Teacher Yu also gave the answer-the "five-step method" of picture book analysis, that is, analyzing the content of picture books from five aspects to find the breakthrough point of activities.
