The Shanghai Chen Guang Project is organized and implemented by the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, and its supporting disciplines are natural science, philosophy and social science. The purpose of support is to promote the construction of college teachers in this city, promote the growth of outstanding talents, and train a group of young backbone teachers. The Shanghai Education Development Foundation initiated and funded the establishment of a training plan for young scientific research backbones in Shanghai universities, referred to as the "Chen Guang Plan", which was jointly managed and implemented by the Shanghai Education Commission and the Shanghai Education Development Foundation.
