Northern Cyprus Turkey * * * and the Republic of China held its first summit in Rabat, Morocco, from 22 to 25 September 1979. The meeting decided to establish the Organization of the Islamic Conference.

from February 22 to 24, 1974, the second summit was held in Lahore, Pakistan. The meeting adopted the Lahore Declaration and put forward measures for economic cooperation among member States.

From January 25th to 29th, 1981, the third summit was held in Mecca and Taif, Saudi Arabia. The conference adopted important documents such as the Mecca Declaration and the Jerusalem Declaration, and formulated the political, economic, cultural and social guidelines for the Islamic world. The meeting also decided to establish an Islamic Development Fund and an Islamic court.

From January 16th to 19th, 1984, the fourth summit was held in Casablanca, Morocco. The meeting adopted the Casablanca Charter, calling on member countries to strengthen unity and cooperation and resolve their disputes through peaceful means.
