Reflect on how you measure your life.
Recently, I finally finished reading How Do You Measure Your Life. This book is neither thick nor simple, but it gives me a lot of profound thinking.

Combining some ideas in the book and the time management course I have been studying recently, I began to make my own goals and plans, iteratively optimize my goals every once in a while, disassemble my goals every day and plan my time. The goal is divided into executable tasks, and the tasks are refined to specific deadlines. I reflect on what I have done badly. This practice has gained a lot.

The goal is clearer and the time utilization rate is higher. The following is a detailed reply.

Do you like your present job or occupation? Are you happy in your work and life now? What can you do to get yourself excited?

I still remember when I just graduated, as a computer major graduate, there were many job opportunities, and the monthly salary was quite good compared with other industries. At that time, I just entered the society, eager for technological growth, wanted to earn more money, wanted to be promoted and raised, and paid more attention to material pursuit.

Later, I worked for a few years, and my position was promoted. I was no longer a junior engineer, and my salary was greatly increased. There have been some changes in mentality. I found that what I really want to do is not because the salary of this job is high, nor because this job is more stable or has a higher social status.

What really inspires me has changed.

If I have two offer with similar salary, I will be more inclined to find a job that can provide challenges, gain company recognition, do valuable things, gain personal growth and make me happy and passionate. At this stage, it is obvious that a few thousand more than a month will not have much impact. This money can neither make my wealth free nor bring me more happiness. Now I am richer in thought and not material-oriented.

During this time, I have been summing up my past and listing in detail what I did badly in the past, what I did well and what I should continue to adhere to. An inadvertent feeling of discouragement, a surging sense of frustration and an involuntary idea of giving up are all firmly grasped, pondered, recorded, and recorded where there is something wrong with the way of thinking, and how to make it possible to plan and implement future goals optimistically and actively.

I did this to get to know myself better. I think writing it down can better clarify it.

I have seen the word "resumption" from many channels countless times. I finally paid attention to it and mentioned something I had to do every day. If you don't know where you spent your day, you might as well make a comeback. If you don't know where all your money went, you might as well make a comeback.

I like this picture of Xu Fanfan, a circle friend who makes money and has skills. On the surface, most people have certain knowledge and skills, and their ability level is not bad. But under the iceberg, there are huge differences, and everyone's values and motives are different. Maybe we don't know much about it ourselves, so we won't be firm enough when making a decision, and we will regret it later.

Since the end of last year, I have joined some planets, and I have been soaking for about three months. I obviously feel that my thinking has changed a lot.

I used to be "sad" and had no clear expectations for the future. Through the link between the planet and its owner, I have broadened my horizons and cognition, greatly changed my outlook on life and values, and also linked a group of excellent friends to make progress together.

Some things I've been thinking about recently are how to make big money quickly without increasing my income through various methods or becoming an industry elite quickly.

I hope to give myself more time, be more patient on my main track, do better than my peers, and constantly break through my own ability boundaries and limits.

Perhaps as stormzhang said, investing in yourself is the highest input-output ratio.

Everyone has his own ideals and goals.

I believe many people have made plans, but if they are not implemented, they will go away.

That's what I did. I started making plans from junior high school, but the plan was never completed, which led me to give up making plans for a time. Because it was impossible to implement them, I simply didn't make plans.

There is no plan to do whatever you want. As you can imagine, I wasted many years.

The future is not what you want, but what you expect so much, very sincere, but very real. If you haven't made your own life strategy/plan, you really should take some time to get to know it and then make some imperfect attempts. Completion is greater than perfection.

I have been reading the book No Accidents recently. Qi Jie Jun said that he wanted to run his life as a company, and then asked himself:

The company needs strategic planning and "resource allocation" in the right direction. If your resources are not used for the established strategy, then the strategy is unlikely to be realized.

The time to run a company and a person well may be interlinked in many ways.

Recently, I saw several bosses explicitly mention the importance of accounting. To start a business and start a company, you must first calculate an account yourself, and the ability to calculate an account can be said to be the most important.

Only when the accounts are clear can the strategy and planning be meaningful, and the resources such as people, finance and materials are strategically inclined, and finally the profit target can be achieved.

In fact, the process of bookkeeping is somewhat similar to the discovery-driven plan mentioned in the book.

Discovery-driven planning

Suppose you want to be an e-commerce, and you want to make a profit of 20 thousand yuan a month. To do this, what conditions need to be met, such as what is the positioning of the store, who are the people, what is their spending power, and where are the customers from? How to test your hypothesis with the least cost? If these conditions are met, predict what will happen.

For individuals, accounting is to find out what time, resources and ability they have and what direction they want to do. If there is no plan and no goal, time will pass in vain in the repetition and busyness of every day.

(strategy = want to do ∩ can do ∩ can do tiger sniffing: "How should enterprises formulate strategies?" )

You must have something you like to do, and you also have something you are good at and can improve. If you don't know yourself very well, then create a new document, look at the project manual of Planet Sharing, and list all the interests. Then compare this picture and screen out what you want to do most and what you can do. For example, I am very interested in self-media IP, but my current ability is limited. I can gradually improve my goal by studying and training writing.

The author also mentioned another topic, which I think is very similar to the values of the planet I joined-sincerity, integrity and altruism.

Many people agree with this value. Do they really make their own decisions, and can they remember these principles and stick to them consistently when they do things themselves?

It is mentioned in the book that it is much easier to be an honest man with 100% than to be an honest man with 98%. Why?

For example, students at school think it doesn't matter if they copy their homework once, and they can understand if they can't arrange their own time. It's no big deal to make an exception and hand in some answers. There are also cheating in exams and copying papers from scratch. And I may not have thought too clearly about the consequences when I did it. Just this once, just do it.

There may be some jobs in the workplace that can get some extra income. I didn't think there was much money at first. It doesn't matter if I take it, and I won't be found. These decisions seem trivial, but in the long run, small accumulation will often have a huge impact.

There will be all kinds of temptations in a person's life. If you only do it once, the result will have little impact, that is, the marginal cost looks lower. This is very attractive, so you will make an exception. But after this time, I found myself deeply involved. It is possible to lose everything.

As long as you violate your principles once, there will be another time, and it is difficult to achieve 100% integrity. Therefore, if you have your own principles and beliefs, you will stick to them from beginning to end and never cross the line, which shows that the bottom line is strong enough!

Regarding interpersonal relationships, family friendship is the most easily overlooked. We are the easiest to sacrifice our family to do what we want.

If you want to build good family relationships and close friends, the most important thing is to invest time. Many people are far away from their hometowns and come to big cities in the north, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, and there are only a handful of time to spend with their parents. If you can go home 10 days a year, you can only spend more than 300 days with your parents in your next life.

Want to live a happy life,

This is a dynamic process of constant adjustment and upward.

Some superficial understanding, welcome to leave me a message and feedback! Thanks for reading!
