New policies for provident fund management regulations in 2022.
1. Article 1 These regulations are formulated in order to strengthen the management of housing provident funds, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of housing provident fund owners, promote urban housing construction, and improve the living standards of urban residents.
2. Article 2 These regulations apply to the deposit, withdrawal, use, management and supervision of housing provident funds within the People's Republic of China and the territory of the country.
The term “housing provident fund” as mentioned in these Regulations refers to state agencies, state-owned enterprises, and urban collective enterprises.
3. Article 3 The housing provident fund paid by individual employees and the housing provident fund paid by the employee's unit for the employee shall belong to the individual employee.
4. Article 4 The management of the housing provident fund shall be based on the principles of decision-making by the housing provident fund management committee, operation of the housing provident fund management center, dedicated bank deposits, and financial supervision.
According to the latest policies and regulations, if both husband and wife have paid into the housing provident fund in 2022, the maximum loan amount when applying for a provident fund loan is 600,000 yuan.
The previous maximum loan amount was 500,000 yuan, which has been relatively increased by 100,000 yuan. This should be good news for everyone.
1. The loan amount is determined based on the borrower’s ability to repay the loan.
The calculation formula is: the borrower’s monthly housing provident fund payment amount ÷ the borrower’s housing provident fund payment ratio × personal loan repayment ability coefficient (currently 0.45) × 12 (months) × actual loanable years.
If both husband and wife contribute to provident funds and borrow money together, the loan limit shall be the sum of the loan limits calculated separately by the husband and wife.
2. The specified maximum limit for personal loans.
Currently, the maximum loan limit for employees who have one spouse paying into the housing provident fund is 300,000 yuan; for employees who both husband and wife pay into the housing provident fund, the maximum loan limit is 600,000 yuan.
