In addition, CPPCC organizations at all levels in Guangxi and the majority of CPPCC members continue to pay attention to poverty alleviation through education, and put forward measures such as raising subsidy standards for secondary vocational schools and ordinary high schools, and raising nutritional meal subsidies for rural compulsory education students, which have been valued and adopted by relevant departments of the state and autonomous regions. Guangxi has also exempted the preschool education fees and ordinary high school tuition and miscellaneous fees for the children of poor households who set up a file card, ensuring that the children of poor households who set up a file card in rural areas enjoy 15 years of free education.
