Secondment refers to the form of secondment of employees between employers due to work needs. Usually, a secondment contract will be signed between the seconded unit and the seconded unit. Generally, the contract shall clearly specify the number of secondees, reasons for secondment, duration of secondment, wages, labor insurance and welfare benefits during secondment. Generally speaking, the seconded personnel enjoy the same treatment as the employees of the seconded unit in terms of salary, insurance and welfare, but they still belong to the seconded unit. In the case of salary adjustment, promotion and professional title evaluation, the seconded units enjoy the same treatment. Upon the expiration of the secondment contract, the seconded personnel still return to their original units. The length of service during the secondment period is calculated continuously.
